The Hunt Experience
Our bear seasons run from April through June and again in the fall. These are 6-day, backcountry hunts that combine horseback riding and hiking through Idaho’s wild terrain to reach prime bear country. You’ll hunt from ground blinds over active bait sites, behind well-trained hounds, or by spot-and-stalk, depending on the conditions and your preferences.
All hunts are based out of comfortable wall tent camps, deep in the mountains. You’ll enjoy hearty meals, a classic western hunting atmosphere, and the kind of camp camaraderie that makes the whole experience even more memorable.

What to Expect on Your Idaho Bear Hunt

We operate our spring and fall bear hunts from comfortable wall tents deep in Idaho’s rugged timbered canyons. These 6-day hunts use a mix of bait sites, ground blinds, and trained hounds to give you the best possible shot at a trophy bear. Be ready for horseback riding and plenty of walking through wild terrain — and keep your eyes open for color-phase bears like blonde, chocolate, cinnamon, and black.
